- The case itself is very comfortable in the hand. It doesn’t add much weight or bulk to the phone at all. It has soft edges around the case so it’s nice and comfortable when held against your ear.
- The battery pack uses a Micro USB port to recharge. With the phone in the battery pack you can also recharge the phone with the same cable.
- The cover slips on and off easily but won’t come off accidentally. Battery life is very good and it protects the iPhone 4 like an armor.
- The case adds 1700 mAH to the 1420 mAH in the phone, which means now that I can use my phone with 3G, WiFi, and GPS for a solid day before recharging.
- I love how u can turn the case off and on. And it shows u how much life is left with lights in the back.
- Got a replacement ASAP as Mr. James Requa of Boost Case promised. The replacement works like a charm. The feel of the case in your hand is perfect. I wake up at 5:15 AM on a typical working day. By 10PM I used to have less than 20% power left but now it is still 100%!!! The customer service is top notch.
- All Boost Case products are covered by our LIFETIME warranty guarantee
- Negative user reviews
- When taking a picture with the flash, there is a distinct white “smoke” that covers most of your picture that is caused by the case being too close to the flash.
- As you can see from the pictures the case does not add a lot of bulk, but because of the extra battery the case definitely adds to weight to the phone
- The case itself is hard plastic and feels really sturdy. The switches on the tops and the sides are slightly recessed making them a little difficult to get at, but appear to well protected.
- I charged the Boost to full capacity then connected it to my iPhone4 and had the Boost turned off. When my iPhone went down to 11%, I turned the Boost on. It only charged to 74%. So, I basically got 63% more charge. I hardly used my phone at all during the charge cycle. The second time around I let the Boost and iPhone4 charge overnight. In the morning I turned off the Boost and ran the iPhone down to 19% battery. I also turned off location services, changed mail to manual, turned off push notifications, I have the latest OS on my iPhone4, bluetooth is turned off, and auto-lock is set as suggested in the Boost App. This time when I turned the Boost on, I set my phone down and didn’t use it except to check if it was done charging. This time it charged up to 85%. So this time I got 66% more charge. That’s 1/3 less battery life than what is being advertised.
- Need to remove the top of the case if you are taking a flash photo, since it becomes cloudy with the case on
Buttons (volume, mute) are a little harder to press with the case on
